Environment Canada is warning you to be prepared to do some shovelling Monday morning.
Senior Meteorologist Mark Schuster tells us they’re out with a winter storm warning because of a system moving into our area tonight.
It’s expected to bring 5 to 10 centimetres of snow overnight, with another 10 to 15 falling during the day Monday.
“When people wake up Monday morning, it’s probably going to be snowing quite heavily, anywhere west of Lake Superior.”
Environment Canada says we can expect the snow to stop by Monday night.
Areas to the west of us are under special weather statements, as they’ll be getting 10 to 15 centimetres of snow from the same system.
