There’s a few more people with jobs in Ontario.
Statistics Canada says employment grew by 78,000 last year.
The province saw a slight increase in December, allowing for the unemployment rate to fall to 5.4 per cent from 5.6 the month before.
The national rate remained unchanged at 5.6 per cent.
Most of those finding working in Ontario were gaining full-time employment.
In Thunder Bay the December unemployment rate was 5.2 per cent only a slight increase from November.
