The city saw some extremely cold temperatures over the last several days, but we are now getting a break.
Environment Canada meteorologist Gerald Chang explains we will be flirting with some warmer temperatures into the early part of the weekend.
He says that means we will have temperatures about 10 degree above the seasonal normal when the high is usually about -10.
For the next several days we will have daytime highs closer to the freezing mark.
The meteorologist explains Saturday night into Sunday morning we will start to see a change to colder weather and back to seasonal temperatures.
Chang is also forecasting a Monday snowfall of about 5 cm .
