Christmas shopping is on the minds of most this month, but how much are you planning to spend?
A recent survey of Canadian adults found out.
The survey for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada found that on average, people will spend around $643 each this holiday season.
13 per cent said they planned to spend $1,000 or more, while 84 per cent said they would spend less than that.
Five per cent admitted they wouldn’t be spending anything at all.
Other holiday costs included travel, where 64 per cent said they will spend less than $200.
For Christmas entertaining, 76 per cent will spend less than $400.
