A Kenora Justice of the Peace will not be having a hearing over his conduct on the bench.
A hearing was set to be heard on January 22nd for Robert McNally over alleged racist and demeaning
comments he made while presiding over a case back in September of 2017.
However, McNally has now submitted a letter that he intends to retire by the end of this year.
The Justices of the Peace Review Council says once he retires it will not have any jurisdiction to
proceed with the hearing.
McNally has not been hearing cases since October of 2017, but continues to be paid.
