November isn’t even a week old and already we’ve seen 60 per cent of our normal rain and snowfall for the month.
Environment Canada’s Peter Kimbell tells us November is known for its dreary weather and so far its living up to its billing in Thunder Bay noting we’ve had 33 mm of rain or snow and the normal for the entire month is. 56 mm for the entire month.
Kimbell also notes’s there’s more rain and snow in the forecast this week than there is sunshine with showers continuing tonight and a good chance of rain tomorrow.
The meteorologist adds after that “it just gets worse” because the temperatures will start to fall starting Wednesday and continuing Thursday into Friday with lows of minus 10 and highs of minus 3.
Kimbell tells we might start to see sunshine this weekend, but it will be a bit cold.
