Appears both sides in the district health unit strike continue not to see eye to eye.
In fact, a news release from the health unit, which is the employer, states it appears both sides are further apart on certain terms, and not closer to a deal.
This follows an offer made by the Ontario Nurses Association on October 29th.
Now the union is claiming it’s disappointed the health unit has chosen not to bargain, is misleading the public, and its latest offer would have cost the health unit less than the previous offer made.
And, both sides claim they’re willing to sit down and work out an agreement.
