If you paid attention to our weather in October, you wouldn’t be surprised by the statistics.
Gerald Cheng of Environment Canada tells us that it was colder and much wetter than usual in Thunder Bay.
Cheng explains 58 millimetres of rain or snow falls typically in October, but last month there were 107 millimetres, almost twice as much precipitation as usual.
The meteorologist adds, the mean temperature was about 2 degrees below normal.
