Provincial Police have released more information on a cold case in Sioux Lookout.
In the early morning hours of October 11th, 1972, the body of 19-year-old Audrey Anderson was found on the south shoulder of Drayton Road east of Highway 72.
At that time, the incident was investigated as a motor vehicle collision.
OPP now say at 1:30 that morning, Anderson left Lee’s Cafe on Front Street in Sioux Lookout in a pickup truck in the company of two men.
Police believe the two men involved may have told friends, family or acquaintances additional information that may be crucial to determining what really occurred.
