We might think of millennials as glued to their phones but a new poll finds 42% have asked a driver to stop using a mobile device while as a passenger.
The survey by the Travelers Institute finds 59% between the ages of 18 and 34 have asked a driver to put the phone down.
That number is 41% when it comes to Gen X drivers who are between 35 and 44.
The survey also highlights some areas of caution, where it found 44% of millennials have called someone while driving, and 36 per cent have texted someone.
Drivers between the ages of 18 and 54 are more likely than those who are 55 and older to admit to texting, answering a call or sending an email while driving.
63% of millennials admitted to doing this at least once a week.
