A Legal Aid Ontario project is sitting down with Thunder Bay’s transgender community on Monday.
The Transforming Justice research project will be in town to document transgender Ontarians’ legal needs and the barriers they face in the justice system. It also aims to help lawyers tailor their services to be more inclusive for transgender clients.
The focus group and workshop at Norwest Community Health Centres is one of several taking place across the province, funded by the Ontario HIV Treatment Network. Registration is required for attendees; you can find more information at this LINK.
