Thunder Bay’s new waterfront art gallery is considered a go now that they’ve raised 30 of the 33 million dollars needed for the project.
Chair of the fundraising Committee Katie Crowe tells us it’s great news.
“How successful we have been in bringing in government dollars that wouldn’t have come here otherwise as well as a contribution from the City of Thunder Bay.”
Construction on the new building is expected to take two years and could start at the end of the year.
