The election of Celina Reitberger to chair the Thunder Bay Police Services Board is being called a great opportunity to move forward.
Gerry McNeilly, who wrote a report saying there is racism in the city police force and is confident of her abilities.
“I’m hoping she will provide good leadership to the Thunder Bay Police so it can enhance its relationship with the Indigenous community.”
