The Salvation Army is looking to raise $220,000 through their Christmas Kettle campaign.
Major Lori Mitchell feels they should be able to reach their goal since last year they surpassed their objective with over $230,000 raised.
Something new the charity is trying out this year includes a mobile credit card payment option.
They’ll now be able to accept debit, Visa, and MasterCard with a machine at one location each day.
You can also donate through the online kettle.
Kettles will be stationed at the Intercity Shopping Centre, Real Canadian Superstore, Walmart, the Grandview Mall and three LCBO’s.
The campaign wraps up on Christmas Eve.
